An Abstract Quest which is uninvited! Why?

“Sometimes to be an empty slate is also knowledge” — Ronnie B

A Philosophical Rant from the Edge of Sanity, Abstractism, and Ginger Tea Addiction

(A Blog by… well, obviously me.)

A new venture I started — which even I don’t understand — and trust me, if I don’t understand it, you also won’t understand what I write. But still, make an effort. Philosophy demands suffering, and I am kindly offering you mine.

My life has taken a dramatic turn toward abstractism. Maybe God Himself looked at me and said, “This boy cannot survive in the real world. Give him the abstract one.” And honestly, there is no higher world than the abstract. It kills me, resurrects me, and brings me to salvation — all before breakfast.

They say “philosophy of knowledge,” but the knowledge itself is so confusing. Is it even knowledge?

Epistemology — the study of knowledge — is already terrifying by name. Who in their right mind wants to study something called epistemology? And then people go hunting for the Greek and Latin origins of words. Why? Why question the mother you came from? Let her rest.

THE TRAGIC TRIANGLE OF KNOWLEDGE: Justified, True, Belief

So the grand claim is:
Knowledge = Justified + True + Belief.

Okay. And ontology says the more “being” you have, the more knowledge you possess.

Excuse me?
What disrespect is this?
My inner self is denied?

Then they bring in subjectivity, objectivity, experience — basically demolishing all the Chemistry I learned and throwing my schooling to the dogs.

Society creates illusions — but who creates the society? I don’t know. No one knows. The philosophers definitely don’t know; they only give us more terms to memorize.

Belief, they say, is what we have because of ignorance.
So I asked: “Then why don’t you remove our ignorance instead of wasting our time?”

No answer.
As usual.

Anger must be shown. Someone has to fight for justice — even in knowledge.

Giving twenty names to the same thing DOES NOT change the reality.
Belief is necessary for knowledge — and after reading all this, I forgot what I was believing in.

Then the ultimate blow — Is our belief in God “true knowledge”?
Some say if a group of people believe, then yes.

But what if the entire group is wrong?

ENTER THE GETTIER PROBLEM: The Uninvited Guest of Epistemology

Just when things were getting worse, Gettier walked in and said:
“No no, there must be something else added to justified true belief.”

The audacity.

Then came the responses:

  • Infallibilism

  • Indefeasibility

  • Reliabilism

  • Internalism

  • Externalism

I don’t know what these responses will achieve — but let them respond. Humans have made life so difficult that even happiness is tired.

In the end, knowledge is knowledge. Even someone who has not gone to school has knowledge. Everyone is born knowing something.

And then appears the philosopher no one wants to remember — Descartes.
I don’t know why he still haunts us.

There is the value problem of knowledge and a thousand more responses. People earlier had time to listen; today, no one listens. Even if I write this whole blog, hardly anyone will read it. This entire thing is one big “paradoxical anthropocentrism confusionical diffusionism.”

THE REAL POINT (Hidden Behind the Sarcasm):

True knowledge is within us, but we don’t explore it.
We are all sleeping Buddhas who refuse to wake up because society offers us a “knowledge” that is not knowledge at all — because it does not liberate.

Even in the Church, the same tragedy happens.
How to help? I genuinely don’t know.

We haven’t even reached halfway to truth, and we are already teaching each other.

THE MIND–BODY DRAMA

Then comes the “Philosophy of Mind”:
Consciousness, dualism, interaction, Descartes, Plato — all the usual suspects.

People can’t interact properly with each other in person, and yet they want to find the “interaction” between mind and body.
It is absolutely irriticulous.

But the irony is: I actually like this topic — it relates to neurochemistry, something from Chemistry I can proudly claim to understand. But who will explain this to Fr Joel? He will not listen. Though he is a good man.

THE HUMAN TENDENCY FOR CIRCLES

People love giving a circular ride between abstractism and materialism.
I respect them, but it really insults my existence and makes me feel inferior — as if I know nothing. Someday I will deal with this.

At least I don’t smoke or drink beer. Otherwise, I would have understood these philosophical concepts very well.

I should not talk about this here but —
I really like masala pan.
And now I’m getting addicted to ginger tea.
Someday ginger will get over because of me.

FICHTE — FINALLY SOME SENSE

One of the men I actually like is Fichte.
He says perspective matters.
He struggled a lot to prove his point, but at least he followed a smooth way.

He believed:
To be happy in life, only we can do it for ourselves.
He revolves around idealism, dogmatism, and ethics — and not in a headache-causing way.

Humans, however, have dualism inside them. They say one thing here, another there, and follow something entirely different. I am not free from this either. But this hypocrisy is one big reason for the downfall of the Church. No one wants to walk the true path to liberation.

Anthropocentrism sometimes looks good — at least someone is happy.

READ BETWEEN THE LINES

Compassionate human communication is necessary.
Only when you respect others’ freedom, you understand the value of real freedom.
We live in a collective society.

Be happy and satisfied.
Do what you love and die.

Sometimes I wonder why I call my life a struggle. I am doing what I love — many people don’t have a roof or food. Their struggle defines struggle. What am I doing?

We should refine our definitions.
Sometimes we must ask ourselves:
Do I love and enjoy what I do?
If yes, then we will also love the hardships that come with it.

And that’s the truth — messy, sarcastic, abstract, funny, irritating, beautiful truth.
Written by a man who loves Chemistry, Fichte, masala pan, ginger tea, and philosophical suffering. The truth is society never allows a person to think and live freely -- this is the fact.
